Getting There
Alright, first things first, getting there is part of the adventure. I usually take the ferry from Kettering. Quick ride, and you’re on the island! If you’re not driving, no worries there’s a bus from Hobart to Kettering. Easy-peasy.
Camping Sites
Now, the camping sites have plenty of options.
I love the ones in South Bruny National Park; it’s like camping in the middle of nature’s wonderland.
But here’s the thing, bring your water and a fuel stove or a contained fire pit.
Keep it clean, folks! Cloudy Corner is a gem, but you’ll need a 4WD to reach there.
The Pines and Jetty Beach are more my speed with 2WD.

Weather-wise, it’s Tassie, so expect a bit of everything. Pack layers it can get chilly even in summer. Raincoat, just in case. But hey, that’s part of the adventure, right?
